Fishing Report

We are proud to say that magnetic island boasts two unique, free, snorkel trails for visitors to follow and enjoy. You can see the real reef just metres off sandy beaches with our own giant clams!

Local marine biologists, Dr Rick Braley of Aquasearch and Ecotours' Dr Andy Lewis, created these free Snorkel Trails for visitors to follow and enjoy. Buy a $5 laminated wrist guide from local shops and you can be snorkelling over GIANT CLAMS Tridacna Gigas.

NO LARGER SPECIES OF SHELLFISH EXISTS IN THE FOSSIL RECORD. Spectacular memories off accessible beaches.

The dates for the markets at the RSL, Arcadia Hotel and on the lawn under the trees at Horseshoe Bay, and a lot of other current Island information, can be seen at www.whatsonmagneticisland.com.au
